extends your head set with 20 mm.
Gives you enough clearance to mount low forks, or creates more space for your brakes, or raises the bottom bracket of your low racer.

This headset extension tube is made for new frames which are reamed at 33.9mm (1 1/8” standard) for 30mm of inside length. Recumbentparts can only guarantee a good fitting on new frames from Optima bicycles. After fitting a headsetcup in this extension tube it is not possible to remove the headsetcup anymore.
